18th Century Building, Hampden Park

Main Works

We were commisioned to re-paint the exterior of a large 18th Century house.

This entailed erecting scaffolding towers to work from and to protect the hanging wall tiles commonly found on East Sussex properties of this age.

The windows were metal framed with wooden surrounds, these were prepared and re-painted with a primer undercoat and then gloss finished.

The soffit boards were also prepared and painted.

The oak beams and facia boards were prepared, sealed and then treated with oak preservation stains.

The metal gutters and drain pipes were rubbed down and painted with metal paint.

The client requested that the project was completed quickly, so we used a five man team to finish the project within a two week period.
